Dr. Deepa Jayaram started her journey after graduating from the Ayurveda Medical College, Trivandrum. She commenced her career as a junior doctor at Arya Vaidya Pharmacy Hospital, and Research Centre, Coimbatore and was later promoted to R.M.O at the Sudarshanam Netrachikitsalayam (Ayurveda Eye Hospital) Thiruvalla. After she had excelled for an year, she moved to Chennai to the Arya Vaidya Pharmacy, Chennai branch to take the post of the Chief physician for 7 years of the branch, where she became known as one of Chennai’s leading lady Ayurveda practitioners. In 2007 she decided to set out on her own as a physician entrepreneur. The main reason she started Pranavam was to help people get access to genuine Kerala Panchakarma treatment and has been providing the same for the last 17 years. She has also published articles on Ayurveda in leading dailies (Dinamalar, etc.) and magazines. Dr. Deepa was honoured by Rotary Club of Chennai Silk City for her contribution to promoting Ayurveda in Chennai. She was the honorary President of the Zonta International Women’s Club. In the 27 years of her practice, she has helped many luminaries in the city.

Pranavam Facial Powder

Pranavam Herbal Drink:

Preparation: Take ½ Teaspoon of herbal powder. Add it in 100ml of boiling water. Brew nicely. Strain and take the clear fluid. Add palm sugar if needed.

Benefits: Relaxing, clear the throat, cleanses the lungs, reduces phlegm, good for cough and cold.

Pranavam Facial Powder:

Preparation: Mix 2 teaspoons of powder with gulabari (Daber)rose water and make a paste. Apply it on the face. Leave it for half an hour. Gently scrub and wash the face. Apply on the full body to use it as a scrub.

Benefits: Removes marks, reduces pimples and gives a clear skin.
